Intro
The Shape Plus Scholarship provides a $1,500 award to one student — a high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student — who has demonstrated strong academic or professional achievement, active involvement, and leadership, and who plans to pursue a career in health and fitness. The scholarship is funded by Shape Plus and may be applied toward education-related costs such as tuition, fees, books, supplies, and room and board.
Application period
The 2025 application cycle opens August 1, 2025 and stays open until either 1,000 applications have been received or August 1, 2026, whichever occurs first. Only the first 1,000 applications submitted before the deadline will be considered.
Eligibility
To qualify for the Shape Plus Scholarship applicants must:
- Be a United States citizen or lawful resident living in (or claiming residency in) one of the 50 states, Washington, D.C., or Puerto Rico.
- Be a current high school senior, an undergraduate, or a graduate student planning to enroll full-time at an accredited two‑year or four‑year U.S. college or university for the full 2025–2026 academic year.
- Show ambition and self-motivation through measurable accomplishments, active participation, and leadership in school and work activities.
- Be pursuing, or planning to pursue, a career in health/fitness and be enrolled in at least one of the following majors (or another health-related major): Health Policy, Health Sciences, Biology, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, Athletic Training, Personal Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Physical Therapy, Health and Physical Fitness, Physical Education Teaching and Coaching, Sports and Recreation Management, Nursing, Dentistry.
Award details
One recipient will receive a single $1,500 scholarship intended solely for undergraduate or graduate education expenses. The award must be used during the fall semester of 2026.
